About
Photography began as a childhood hobby for me. My parents must have spent a fortune on disposable cameras and prints of our pets and my posed stuffed animals. My hobby evolved into a passion nurtured by my mom and encouraged by my teachers, coaches, and friends. At the University of Alaska Fairbanks, I majored in photojournalism with big dreams of seeing the world through my lens. Of course, I fell in love and was married instead and now have the privilege of capturing life's greatest adventure, my two children. While in school I worked for the student paper as the photo editor and photo assistant in the Marketing and Communications Department. The work I am most proud of began at that time through the guidance of my supervisor and professors. I have been taking professional photos for over a decade and look forward to helping you document life's most significant moments.
